Common issues and how to fix them.

Login Issues

Can't Login

Symptoms: Login button doesn't work, error message.

Solutions:

  1. Clear browser cache and cookies

  2. Try incognito/private mode

  3. Check internet connection

  4. Verify credentials are correct

  5. Try different browser

Session Expired

Symptoms: Suddenly logged out, "session expired" message.

Solutions:

  1. Login again - sessions expire after 24h

  2. Check if you logged in from another device

  3. Clear localStorage and try again

Phantom Won't Connect

Symptoms: Phantom popup doesn't appear or closes immediately.

Solutions:

  1. Make sure Phantom extension is installed

  2. Unlock your Phantom wallet

  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting

  4. Refresh the page

  5. Check Phantom is on correct network

Wallet Issues

Balance Not Showing

Symptoms: Wallet shows 0 balance when you know it has funds.

Solutions:

  1. Click refresh button

  2. Check you're on correct network (mainnet/devnet)

  3. Wait 30 seconds for auto-refresh

  4. Check wallet on Solscan to verify

Generate Wallet Failed

Symptoms: Error when trying to create new wallets.

Solutions:

  1. Check you haven't hit wallet limit

  2. Refresh page and try again

  3. Check backend server is running

Import Failed

Symptoms: Can't import existing wallet.

Solutions:

  1. Verify private key format (base58)

  2. Ensure key is complete (no truncation)

  3. Check wallet isn't already imported

Transaction Issues

Transaction Failed

Symptoms: Trade or transfer shows error.

Common Causes:

  • Insufficient balance (include fees!)

  • Slippage too low

  • Network congestion

  • Token has transfer tax

Solutions:

  1. Check you have enough SOL for fees (~0.01)

  2. Increase slippage to 15-25%

  3. Increase priority fee

  4. Wait and retry during less busy times

Transaction Stuck/Pending

Symptoms: Transaction submitted but not confirming.

Solutions:

  1. Check transaction on Solscan

  2. If not found, retry with higher priority

  3. Wait - Solana can be slow during congestion

  4. Don't spam retries (can cause duplicates)

Swap Returns Wrong Amount

Symptoms: Received less than expected.

Causes:

  • Slippage execution

  • Token has tax/fee

  • Price moved during execution

Prevention:

  1. Use lower slippage for stable pairs

  2. Check token for taxes before trading

  3. Trade during low volatility

Launch Issues

Token Creation Failed

Symptoms: Launch button shows error.

Solutions:

  1. Check all metadata fields are filled

  2. Verify image is valid (PNG, JPG, GIF)

  3. Ensure you have enough SOL (0.1+ recommended)

  4. Check you're on mainnet

  5. Try reducing number of bundle wallets

Bundle Rejected

Symptoms: Jito bundle not accepted.

Solutions:

  1. Increase Jito tip (0.01 SOL recommended)

  2. Reduce bundle size (max 5 transactions)

  3. Check all wallets have balance for fees

  4. Try again - bundles can be rejected due to timing

GET CA Not Working

Symptoms: Can't get contract address before launch.

Solutions:

  1. Fill ALL required metadata fields first

  2. Ensure image is uploaded

  3. Check console for specific errors

Bridge Issues

Exchange Stuck

Symptoms: Bridge shows "waiting" for a long time.

Solutions:

  1. Check you sent exact amount required

  2. Verify deposit address was correct

  3. Check source chain for confirmations

  4. Wait - some chains need many confirmations

  5. Contact ChangeNow support with exchange ID

Wrong Amount Received

Symptoms: Got less than estimated.

Causes:

  • Rate changed (standard rate type)

  • Network fees deducted

  • Very small difference is normal

Prevention:

  • Use fixed rate for important amounts

  • Account for network fees

Performance Issues

Slow Loading

Symptoms: Pages take long to load.

Solutions:

  1. Check internet connection

  2. Clear browser cache

  3. Disable browser extensions

  4. Try different browser

  5. Check if backend is responding (might be cold start)

High Memory Usage

Symptoms: Browser becomes slow.

Solutions:

  1. Close other browser tabs

  2. Refresh the page

  3. Avoid opening many wallet details at once
